“Everyone was here to help me get through school. I felt that they wanted me to succeed,” says Jessica Sowell, a recent graduate of the Associate Degree in Applied Exercise and Fitness program. She felt supported throughout her journey at Bryan University. Students, alumni, faculty, and staff all feel and articulate the mission to “liberate the innate greatness in people.” The BU mission and core values create a framework that leads our students to great success during their time at BU and after in the workplace.
While higher education institutions work hard to get students to the graduation line, BU takes it a step further, preparing students to take those next steps into the field of their choice. From the first class students enroll in at BU, we focus on their mindsets and how to manage their time effectively. This allows BU students to prepare to enter into dynamic workplaces while also maintaining their work-life balance early into their program.
So what can you expect from your education at BU besides a diploma? You can expect flexibility, supportive faculty and staff, the latest educational technology, and the opportunity to continue to grow and improve.
In this installment series, we’ll highlight some of the many ways BU sets you up for success and helps you achieve your educational and career goals. We’ll focus on academic support, technology, and the design of our programs.
Stay tuned for the next installment soon!
