Everything You Need to Know About Bryan University’s Virtual Commencement Ceremony

We’re here, you did it, and now it’s time to celebrate! From certificates to master’s degrees and everything in between, graduates from across Bryan University are coming together to mark this major accomplishment and celebrate what’s next.

Before we kick things off, let’s cover a few important things to help you prepare for your virtual commencement ceremony. From FAQs to a graduate-themed social media kit, here’s what you need to know.

Virtual Commencement Ceremony FAQs

Why might my commencement ceremony take place after I finish my program?

  • At BU, students finish programs year-round, with new graduates every four weeks! Many students continue from a certificate to an associate degree or higher, while others step into the workforce. Our commencement ceremonies are held twice a year, so we can bring all graduates together for a big, shared celebration because we love celebrating you at every milestone.

Who is eligible to participate in the virtual ceremony?

  • Our upcoming 2026 Spring Commencement is for students who completed a program between July and December 2025.

Who do I contact with questions?

  • Visit our commencement page for all of your commencement and alumni resources! You can also reach out to the BU grad team with any questions or comments you may have at grad.team@bryanuniversity.edu.

Will the ceremony be recorded?

When Creating Your Personalized Message

Your message can only be a maximum of 150 characters, and don’t forget to proofread for grammar and spelling!

Name Pronunciation

Remember to listen to the phonetic version of your name that the system will speak. If it sounds incorrect, please record your own name.

Picture Submission Suggestions

We strongly recommend that you keep your background clear (a blank wall works well) and that you have someone else take your picture. All images should be at least 700 x 700 pixels, with a file size of no more than 20MB. You do not have to wear your cap and gown in the photo, but business casual dress is recommended.

Video Submission Suggestions

Be you, but remember that professional attire and a neutral location, such as a blank wall or living room, is recommended. Please keep your video to less than 10 seconds (file size cannot exceed 100MB) and do not include music in your video, as copyright issues can arise.

For additional information on the specifics that StageClip recommends when creating your graduation content or how to navigate StageClip, please visit StageClip’s support page here. Make sure to keep an eye on your SPAM folder in case of lost messages!
