We are pleased to announce that Bryan University has earned a spot on the Phoenix Business Journal’s List of The Valley’s Healthiest Employers. The list recognizes organizations with a strong commitment to health and wellness. On April 29th, 2022, the Business Journal will honor these organizations at the annual Healthiest Employers awards program, a live virtual event.
The finalists for the awards maintained solid employee health and wellness programs and initiatives even while employees worked remotely. The finalists were scored by an independent proprietary system that considers various programs and benefits offered by the organizations.
“We cannot be a benefit to others and impact their lives without taking care of our own employees first,” says Sandy Rath, Student Success Coach Lead and member of Bryan University’s wellness committee, called B.U.F.F. (Bryan University Fitness Fun-addicts). The B.U.F.F. committee leads the charge in planning and executing Bryan’s wellness activities and challenges. The wellness program at Bryan University offers employees opportunities to engage in activities that focus wholistically on the health of participants.
“We are really glad to offer a robust wellness program that allows employees to participate in activities that can positively impact their physical, emotional, social, and financial health. In addition to the incentives offered for participating, we also benefit from having opportunities to build community through the program, “says Janae Myles, Bryan University Employee Excellence Advisor.
