Bryan University Paralegal Students Shine in First-Ever Inter-University Debate

There’s no slowing down Bryan University’s Paralegal Club! Last month, our paralegal club hosted its first ever inter-university student debate, and they have another one scheduled for July 30!

Paralegal Program Director Christine Leavitt said this inaugural debate showcased the talent, passion, and academic excellence of the future legal professionals enrolled in our program.

Teams were given a complex legal topic to present with just an hour to prepare, and Bryan University’s paralegal students rose to the challenge. Leavitt said our students crafted thoughtful, persuasive arguments that demonstrated impressive critical thinking, legal analysis, and composure under pressure.

“I was incredibly proud of our students and very impressed by the depth of their analytical abilities,” said Leavitt.

The next student debate is scheduled for July 30! Stay tuned for more updates on our paralegal program and how you can get involved.
