This designation is the result of comprehensive employee surveys measuring culture, work environment, leadership, and employee pride and satisfaction, combined with rigorous evaluations of workplace practices, policies, perks, and demographics.

Bryan University also received this recognition for providing workplace initiatives that support employee wellness and work-site benefits. The BU office of employee excellence has dedicated time and resources to developing programs to provide employees with support, resources, and learning opportunities. These include monthly wellness lunch-and-learns on topics such as fitness, nutrition, and financial management, in addition to wellness challenges and an online wellness incentive program.
