Bryan University is proud to be hosting the upcoming Hearing Reporter Examination for the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board of the State of California on September 6, 2014.
Those chosen will become full-time Hearing Reporters for the State of California and will travel throughout the state for their work. It has been a number of years since this exam was given and the 160+ applicants makes it the largest Hearing Reporter Exam ever given in the State of California. Bryan University will provide campus space for each group to warm-up, test, and transcribe. Our faculty and readers will administer the exam, with state employees serving as proctors. Bryan University also hosted the last state exam, given in 2008.
“We are pleased to host and be viewed as a center for Court Reporting Education in California. We wish all the candidates well on their exam,” said John Kolacinski, Bryan University Los Angeles Campus President.
