Dave Rogers

Professional Experience

Mr. Rogers is the Chief Financial Officer at Bryan University and he is a certified public accountant.  He is an expert at understanding and implementing regulations set forth by the US Department of Education, ACICS, and the California BPPE.  Mr. Rogers oversees the Financial Aid and Business Office departments at all campuses within the Bryan family.  Prior to joining Bryan University, Dave worked at Deloitte and Touche as a Senior Auditor where he was in charge of audit engagements for large private and public companies.  At Deloitte, Mr. Rogers specialized in auditing registered investment companies and investment advisors.  Dave also has experience in retail banking and working as a regulatory consultant at a large publicly traded retail company.
 
Yuming Zhao

Yuming graduated from USC in the summer of 2008.  After graduation he joined Bryan University.  During his years at USC, he interned in accounting with Ameron, and worked on campus at the Trojan Bookstore.
 
Omar Cupich

Professional Experience
Omar has worked in both financial and managerial positions for the past 6 years. Before coming to Bryan University, Omar worked as an Accounting Clerk for California Prime Accountancy Corporation, a small to mid-size CPA firm. Omar started at Bryan University as a Student Account Associate, and was later promoted to his current position as Business Office Manager.

Professional Experience
Prior to joining Bryan University, Robin worked at Bridgepoint Education as a Military Financial Aid advisor and student accounts coordinator in San Diego. He also worked with Northcentral University as a Financial Aid officer assisting doctoral and graduate students. Prior to working in the education industry, Robin spent 8 years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps within the 1st Marine Division, Assault Amphibious Battalion as a Sergeant and instructor at Camp Pendleton, California. Prior to leaving the military he spent 4 years as an instructor, graduating over 400 officers and enlisted in their primary occupational duty. Commendations include the Presidential Unit Citation in combat, GWOT, Command CERTCOM, and various other commendations.
 
  Nalina Shivers
Payroll Administrator

Professional Experience
Prior to joining Bryan University, Nalina worked at the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association as a payroll assistant where she processed payroll for a staff of more than 500 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Hollywood Bowl performance venues.  Aside from her work at the LA Phil, Nalina also provided bookkeeping and administrative support to various small businesses and nonprofits in the Los Angeles, CA and Boston, MA areas.  Prior to her work in accounting, Nalina worked as a music teacher, instructing children and adults in music theory, and piano and trumpet performance.
 
  Roxane Romero
Regional Financial Aid Director

Professional Experience
Roxane has served in many positions over the years including Director of Financial Aid for Merit College and Devry Institute of Technology, Director of Student Accounts for Mt. Sierra College, Director of Operations for Musicians Institute, Special Consultant/Compliance for the University of Laverne, and Director of Financial Aid and WASC Accreditation Liaison for St. John’s Seminary College. Roxane began at Bryan as the Director of Financial Aid and was promoted to Regional Financial Aid Director.

Professional Experience
Tom has 10 years of higher education management experience both in admissions as well as student accounts and financial aid.  Tom has been trained by the Department of Education in all Title IV funding regulations, and has maintained certification through California Association of Federal Student Aid Administrators with annual training on new policies and compliance changes.
